The world of video game streaming services just got slightly more interesting with the launch of Amazon Luna, and U.S. residents can try it out now.
Luna is Amazon’s cloud gaming platform, similar to Google Stadia and Microsoft’s xCloud. Streaming some of the biggest games at 4K resolutions and 60 frames per second to Fire TV, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices is possible — though you’ll need a lightning-fast connection. Luna will have built-in Twitch streaming support and added benefits for Amazon Prime subscribers.

- Devil May Cry 5
- Observer: System Redux
- PHOGS!
- Flashback
- Immortals Fenyx Rising – March 8 to March 14

In addition to the Prime Gaming Channel, Luna will have a Retro Channel with streaming titles like Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Metal Slug 3, and the Castlevania Anniversary Collection for $4.99 per month. There’s also the Jackbox Games Channel which contains (you guessed it) all eight Jackbox party packs along with Quiplash, You Don’t Know Jack, Drawful, and Trivia Murder Party for $4.99 per month.
Amazon Luna Pricing and Cost
You can try Luna out for free now, but new subscriptions will cost $9.99 per month starting April 1, 2022. However, that plan does not include the Retro and Jackbox channels, as those are still $4.99 each. Think of it like how you can add additional channels to Amazon Prime movie and TV streaming.
