Amazon has launched Prime Day early by giving away free Amazon Echo Dot and Amazon Echo Show devices worth up to £75 with some of the deals.
The free Echo devices are available when you order a Ring wired doorbell at £35 or a Ring video doorbell for £60. The free devices mean buying a Ring and Amazon device bundle is cheaper than buying the Amazon device on its own in some cases, and offers a saving of up to £95 if you order the cheaper Ring option and choose an Echo Show 5 as the free option.
The deals are the first of the Amazon Prime Day deals before the day itself begins on Tuesday 12 July. The Amazon Prime Day sale is set to run for two days but early deals on all Amazon devices went live this morning in a surprise early sale.
The discounts include Alexa-powered Echo devices and covers both the third and most recent fourth generation of the Echo Dot. The third generation model is now under £30, while the fourth generation has been reduced to £38. The prices are not the cheapest ever offered by Amazon - the third generation has been as low at £20 - but they are cheaper than the standard price.
The Echo Dot deals end on Monday and that could hint at further reductions on Prime Day itself, meaning savvy shoppers should hang on before buying the devices outright.
They include a Fire 7 Kids Pro Tablet reduced from £100 to £60, an Echo Show fifth generation down from £150 to just £82 and a Fire TV Cube down from £110 to £55.
Amazon had also cut the price of Ring doorbells, with the standard doorbell reduced by £30 to a price of £60. There is also £60 off a Ring spotlight camera and £10 off the Ring indoor camera, which is down to just £40.
