Amazon has announced the dates for its biggest festive shopping event in India, with the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 set to begin on October 8. The sale will offer deals across smartphones, electronics, fashion, beauty, home appliances, groceries and several other categories.
Customers will be eligible for an instant 10% discount on SBI Credit and Debit Cards, including eligible EMI transactions. Prime members will also get up to an additional 10% discount on select offers.
The festive sale will feature new product launches, exchange offers, No Cost EMI and other promotional deals across categories.

Amazon brings AI-powered shopping features
Amazon is also highlighting AI-based shopping tools ahead of the festive season. Customers will be able to compare products, check price histories, receive recommendations and use AI-powered features across product pages and search to help them make purchase decisions.
Amazon expands delivery network ahead of festive season
Amazon has expanded its logistics and fulfilment network ahead of the Great Indian Festival. The company said it has added 20 new fulfilment centres, six new sort centres and 150 new last-mile delivery stations across India.
The company has also created more than 160,000 seasonal job opportunities across its operations network, which spans around 400 cities.
Amazon said its network now supports more than 1.7 million sellers across India. Its seller base has crossed 20 lakh, with more than 3 lakh sellers joining the platform over the past year.
Amazon Now to expand to 100 cities before Diwali
Amazon said its quick-commerce service, Amazon Now, will expand to 100 cities before Diwali. The service is already available in several non-metro cities, including Jalandhar, Tirupati, Warangal, Dharwad, Vellore and Berhampur.
Customers can use Amazon Now to order groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables, beverages, household products, personal care items, beauty products, small appliances and other products.
