Smart speakers can be a great help around the house and are a popular gift option, especially around Christmas time.
Gadgets like the Amazon Echo and Alexa can be used to set alarms, play music and even give updates on current affairs and the weather. But experts have warned people not to keep their smart speakers in their bedrooms.
In the past, it's been advised that the speakers are only kept downstairs. Dr Hannah Fry previously said the digital assistants should be treated the same as other guests in your home and kept out of private areas such as the bedroom and bathroom, reports the ECHO.
