An Amazon driver was reportedly fired after a video of a women leaving his van went viral on TikTok.

The video, which accrued a whopping 11.4 million views, appeared to be filmed from someone’s apartment window and showed the driver opening the back of the van which a woman wearing a black dress and no shoes then walked out of. The TikTok user who posted it said it was filmed in Florida.

Responding to the video, people had joked about why the woman was in the van.

“Package will be delivered in 9 months,” one joked.

“This is why my new phone case is late,” another said.

But since it shot to fame, it has led to severe repercussions. A spokesperson for Amazon told TMZ: “This does not reflect the high standards we have for our Delivery Service Partners and their drivers.”

He added: “Allowing unauthorized passengers to enter delivery vehicles is a violation of Amazon policy, and the driver is no longer delivering packages to Amazon customers.”

Commenting on the video, people questioned if it was appropriate that it had been posted and said they felt sorry for the driver who was fired.

One said: “Don’t be a snitch.”

Another said: “You really got this man fired.”
