NEW DELHI: It's a different feeling for young Australian cricketer Jake Fraser-McGurk when it comes to playing in the biggest cricket league of the world - IPL, but the Delhi Capitals (DC) batter made a mark for himself in his debut innings against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Friday.
Fraser-McGurk announced himself with a belligerent half-century (55 off 35 balls). The 22-year-old, known for his aggressive batting style, made an immediate impact in the IPL by smashing a short of a length delivery from Yash Thakur over deep mid-wicket, securing his first-ever runs in the tournament. Displaying his attacking mindset, he followed up with another six in the subsequent over, showcasing his ability to take on the bowlers and score quickly.
