Amanda Holden wowed as she transformed herself into a "sexy" Dorothy for World Book Day, clad in a thigh skimming gingham dress and pigtails.

The TV and radio star, 52, took on the iconic character as he hooked a wicker basket over one arm and showed off her toned legs in a pair of glittery red stilletos.

BGT judge Amanda recreated the famous look alongside her Heart Breakfast co-stars Jamie Theakston and Ashley Roberts as Tin Man and The Cowardly Lion.
