Amanda Holden has paid tribute to her eldest child who has turned 16-years-old – much to the astonishment of the TV judge.
The 50-year-old star took to social media on Thursday to shine a spotlight on her teenage daughter Lexi – who she shares with 67-year-old husband Chris Hughes.
Amanda, who also has a nine-year-old daughter named Hollie with her husband, uploaded a photo of her teenage daughter to Instagram showing her sat at a table in a sparkly blue dress.
The proud mother showered her eldest with praise and affection as she made her followers aware that the blonde girl was turning 16-years-old.
She wrote: "Happy sweet 16 to our beautiful Lexi from Mama and Dada who love you so much!" alongside a red heart emoji.
Meanwhile, on Instagram Stories, Mandy shared a throwback photo of Lexi as a baby.
Expressing her shock at how fast her daughter is growing up, Amanda wrote alongside the image: "Our baby Lexi turns 16 today. Just can't believe it," and again added a red heart emoji.
She also wrote: "Love you sooo much" on the post.
Fans and followers were astonished by Lexi's likeness to her mother, with one writing: "got her mother’s beauty," many others branding her "stunning" – and one fan even suggesting she could be a "supermodel".
While another fan typed: "So pretty...she looks like a young Denise Richards."
Back in 2020, Amanda shared some of her top tips for parenting while balancing a hectic work and life balance.
She revealed that her husband Chris has rigged the alarm clocks in their house to play Amanda’s morning breakfast radio show which airs on Heart from 6:30am-10am every week day to wake everyone up.
She said: "Chris has rigged up our alarm clock system so that they all wake up to the sound of my voice on air.
“It's a down-to-earth show and I talk about everything from burning a saucepan when I tried to make pasta to my cat jumping on my lap when I was in the loo."
She also confessed to Woman & Home magazine that parents should accept that they can’t succeed at everything.
She advised: "I Facetime the children when I’m at work, but my parents and my husband are incredible – they help all the time. They came with me to Disneyland Paris a couple of weeks ago. And Chris is just the most incredible hands-on Dad.”
While back in 2015, she explained to London Mums Magazine her top tip for making sure kids don’t spend too much time on their iPhones, iPads or other devices.
She said: "It's all still relatively new. My eldest child has an iPad which she uses for a few games. It has a child-friendly internet surface called Mobicip (a free parental control for phones, tablets and computers) which is brilliant so she cannot google anything that's going to upset her when she's not with us which is important. We let her play at weekends only."
