Amanda Holden's shaking up her career with a new 'controversial' TV project that's pulling her passions in a new direction.
The ITV Britain’s Got Talent judge is set to swap her family-friendly TV role for a rather racy adult-only Sky docuseries on the history of sex — and of course brings her own flirty charm to the series.
Amanda, 51, will add a fun element as the series takes a look back at the sex icons of the past and gets dressed up in a costume or two to bring the series to life.
The Heart Radio Presenter explained: "I’ve just started filming a brand new series for Sky, which is going to be a lot of fun and it may be slightly controversial!”
Teasing the new show she has posed for shots dressing up as Cleopatra and Marilyn Monroe to promote the series.
The telly fave stripped completely naked last month as she slipped into the bath with her Cleopatra costume still in place, donning a dark wig full of beads and jewels as she propped one knee up in the porcelain tub.
A source told The Sun: " “The documentary is packed with facts, information and educational moments but of course Amanda brings her own style to it.
"She got hands on for filming, including dressing up as some of the sex icons like Marilyn and bringing to life key moments with re-enactments. We’re calling it Horrible Histories but for grown-ups."
The source explained how the 'sexual exploration' of this generation is 'nothing' compared to the antics of the Romans or even the Regency period.
They added: "Amanda is really passionate about the project.”
Amanda shared a shot of her in costume captioning the photo: "Dressing up day again. #Cleopatra."
Although she did not mention the forthcoming series she did tag Sky TV and a TV production company, suggesting she could be filming a new show.
Many of her fans flocked to comment with one adding: "Love this! You look incredible darling."
A second posted: "Oh my god, just so gorgeous."
A third quipped: "Looking beautiful as always."
A fourth who appears to be in on witnessing the action added: "It was a religious experience to witness this today" with a flame emoji.
