Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden is due to make a thrilling appearance on Neighbours this week as a new character for a London-based storyline.
Former X Factor judge Amanda will be guest-starring as Harriet, the aunt of Harlow Robinson played by Jason Donovan’s daughter Jemma, 21.
The trailer shows Holden looking glamorous as she hangs out in central London, but where does the real celebrity actually live?
Amanda and her husband Chris Hughes actually have two homes together - one in Surrey and another in the Cotswolds.
The Cotswolds crib is a beautiful rustic spot but they use it as their holiday home - instead, the Surrey set-up is Holden HQ, where the couple live day-to-day with their daughters Lexi and Hollie.
Amanda Holden's Surrey home
Let's take a tour around Holden’s house, which she and Chris bought in 2015.
Amanda Holden's house rules
In the past, Amanda has stressed how important to her that the family home isn’t just a “show home”, telling House Beautiful: “We have two little girls and don't want them feeling that they're treading on eggshells."
The home bar
What would fame be worth if you couldn’t have your own bar at home?
Amanda showed hers off when she posted a relaxed image of her with her feet up enjoying what looks to be a gin and tonic.
Sleek black decor and button-back bar stools line up to the well-stocked bar with beautiful bubble-like lights overhead.
Speaking to House Beautiful she said: "We have record awards and an electric guitar on the wall, plus a huge picture of a girl in a spacesuit and a useless Pacman machine!"
The garden
Over lockdown, Amanda posted images of her mowing the lawn in her wedding dress. The footage captured a lovely looking lawn and big flower beds with well-manicured plants and trees.
In the background, a rustic wall features trellises with colourful plants trailing up them.
She’s also posted images of a beautiful-looking patio with metal tables and chairs where she sits in the sun with her feet up, enjoying a glass of wine surrounded by luscious flowers and another fire pit.
Captain Tom's tree
In summer 2021, Amanda posted an image of a palm tree she had planted in honour of the late Captain Sir Tom Moore.
The tree is surrounded by lovely grey decking complete with flower beds and seating.
On the decking, a fireplace also features gorgeous glass walling near steps that lead up to the star of the show - the hot tub.
The hall
The hall into Amanda's Surrey house is painted in a classy selection of greys, with a window seat that gets drenched with natural light - she shared a clip of this part of her house on TikTok.
The hall is complete with a pineapple lamp that looks a little like it was modelled in the style of a Faberge egg.
The bedroom
The bedroom features a huge palatial white double bed loaded up with snuggly cushions and a tasteful throw.
Meanwhile, images shared of her enormous wardrobe with an army of shoes show high heels stacked up the floor to ceiling over seven shelves.
The kitchen
Over lockdown Amanda did up her kitchen - a part of the house she has described as the ‘hub’ - kitting the joint out with new cupboards and a new worktop.
Huge lights in the style of disco balls hang from the ceiling over the breakfast bar. Hello reports that the lights cost £850 each.
Near the table, Amanda has gone for the ever-stylish option of an exposed brick wall that has been mounted with a large flat-screen TV.
The dining room
The dining room was also renovated in 2019, kitting it out with a round marble dining table which has a £5,000 Timothy Oulton light hanging overhead.
Pineapples seem to be a bit of a theme for the house, with a luxurious-looking wall grey-green wallpaper adorned with golden images of the fruit featured in some of her videos.
The living room
Amanda’s living room looks nothing short of amazing, with huge speakers and a velvet finished green sofa and a humorous vintage poster hanging on the wall. The walls are painted in a regal navy.
