Celebrities are sharing adorable photos of their little ones dressed up for World Book Day, with a few getting in the spirit of the day themselves.
Taking to Instagram, Amanda Holden, Ashley James and Christine McGuinness are among the famous faces who have posted snaps of their kids dressed as popular book, TV and film characters.
The Britain's Got Talent judge, 51, and her fellow Heart Radio presenters Ashley Roberts and Jamie Theakston appeared to be dressed as the Three Musketeers, from Alexandre Dumas' 1844 novel.
The trio brandished toy swords and wore blue and white outfits, with black boots and hats.
The radio presenter also shared a snap of her youngest daughter Hollie, 12, dressed as a pirate and striking an action pose.
Model and TV presenter Ashley James, 34, dressed her baby son Alfie in a monkey onsie, surrounded by books about the cheeky animal, such as Monkey Puzzle and Night Monkey.
She captioned the post: "Couldn't miss the opportunity to dress my little bookworm up."
She said that reading is Alfie's favourite thing to do, adding: "I hope his passion for reading and going to the library continues."
Meanwhile Kate Ferdinand posted a sweet picture of herself dressed as an Oompa Loompa from Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as she held the hand of her 15-month-old, Cree, who appeared as Woody, from Toy Story.
Kate wasn't the only mum to embrace a Toy Story theme, with Christine McGuinness, 33, sharing a photo of her daughter Penelope, eight, dressed as cowgirl Jessie, alongside her two siblings Leo and Felicity, wearing Super Mario and princess costumes respectively.
Christine, who is married to Top Gear presenter Paddy, simply captioned the picture: "My heart just smiled".
Love Island series 2 winner Cara De La Hoyde, 31, shared a sweet picture of her daughter dressed as Marie from Disney classic The Aristocrats, with the caption: "Everybody wants to be a," finishing with a cat emoji.
As to be expected, Harry Potter was a recurring theme, with Kerry Katona's youngest daughter Dylan-Jorge, seven, wearing a Hogwarts robe and scarf, and clutching the second novel in the book series.
Jaxon, seven, son of West End musical star Claire Sweeney, 50, chose a Harry Potter costume, as did Amie Coady's son Henri.
Amie, who is married to England footballer Conor Coady, 29, posted a cute picture of Henri with their other two sons, Freddie and Louie, who were dressed as Willie Wonka and Spider-Man.
The Only Way is Essex stars Mario Falcone, 34, and Amy Childs, 31 also celebrated the day.
Mario's son Parker Jax wore an astronaut costume, complete with a helmet. while Amy Child's daughter Polly smiled while wearing a pink Disney princess costume.
Amy wrote under the picture: "Of course Polly wanted to dress up as a Disney princes for World Book Day".
