Amanda Holden and Jimmy Carr storm off BBC set after savage comment

Amanda Holden and Jimmy Carr walked off the set of BBC One show I Can See Your Voice after one contestant made a cutting remark.

The pair were judges on the show hosted by Paddy McGuinness, and the aim of the game is for players to attempt to weed out the bad singers, based on a series of clues, interrogation, and lip sync performances. The judges will help the guessing contestant eliminate the fake singers in a line-up, with the hopes of winning £10,000.

However in an upcoming episode, something seems to have riled the Britain's Got Talent Judge and the comedian as they storm off set. The moment, which will be played on TV this weekend, was released in a sneak preview by the BBC show today, writes The Mirror.

The competing contestant named Haloo said that the judges weren't much help, saying: "I love you guys but you are no help."

Then 51-year-old Amanda was seen getting up from her chair and following comedian Jimmy off to the side of the set. Paddy then said: "Off you go, see you later." Then, referring to Scots singer Lulu who was also on the judging panel: "Lulu, you can stay."

Fellow panelist Alison Hammond was then seen in fits of laughter at the pair. Just last month, Jimmy made a savage joke about Amanda on the BBC show. The funnyman joked that fellow judge Amanda had a ‘new face’, however, Amanda seemed unbothered and laughed along with him.

One of the 'singers' on the show was aptly named "No Scrubs" as she studied medicine. Jimmy then looked at Amanda and said: "You know, No Scrubs. Would it be appropriate to take a moment to thank the doctors and nurses that have worked tirelessly over the last couple of years?"

Jimmy continued: "On Amanda's new face..." Paddy was laughing hysterically and Amanda seemed to see the funny side too, as she laughed along.

I Can See Your Voice continues on Saturday at 9.10pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
