This season's summer riding has come to an end, but Alpinestars' 2027 Racing Sport Collection just dropped and already has me looking forward to the weather clearing up here in Ireland. The collection consists of just about every style of jacket you can think of, along with some slick gloves, but the jewels in the crown are the new leather suits.
The Missile V3 1PC and 2PC leather suits are at the center of the collection. Both units draw on advancements developed through Alpinestars’ work in MotoGP and are suitable for racers, but I reckon the 1PC will be the go-to suit for track-day fanatics. The AAA-rated suits feature a premium bovine leather construction incorporating 1.3 mm Flex Plus race-grade leather, with an ergonomic race fit and pre-curved construction. A key development is the integration of DFS ST external protectors at the shoulders, elbows, and knees with a seamless construction that eliminates exposed external seams in these critical areas.
