Alonso feels most competitive he has been in F1 since 2012

Fernando Alonso F1 Alpine Esteban Ocon Ferrari McLaren

Two-time F1 world champion Alonso returned to the series last year, scoring one podium finish and playing a critical role in team-mate Esteban Ocon’s shock win in Hungary.

But Alonso has been left downbeat at points through the early part of the 2022 campaign, lamenting bad luck that caused him to retire in Saudi Arabia and crash out of qualifying in Australia.
