Newcastle United secured three valuable points in their fight for safety with a 1-0 win over Aston Villa.
It was a game that will not last long in the memory of many supporters other than the one moment of quality from Kieran Trippier that won the game.
The win takes United four points clear of the drop zone and right in the mix of the teams above them - including Everton, Leeds and Brentford.
Here are five things you may have missed.
Miguel Almiron's game management
With Newcastle pushed back in their own half and Aston Villa peppering the box for an equaliser, Miguel Almiron tried to keep warm in the pouring rain.
As the ball was cleared into the crowd for a Villa throw, it was thrown down to the ball-boy who did his job and chucked the ball back onto the pitch. Of course, at this point in proceedings, Newcastle wanted to waste as much time as possible, and as the ball came over the advertising hoardings, Almiron stopped it, picked it up and hid it behind his back.
It was a valuable few seconds and allowed United's defence to set up ready for another Villa onslaught.
It was a small but clever move from Almiron and showed that despite not getting on the pitch in recent weeks, he's very much still part of the team effort to ensure United survive this season.
The wasted Aston Villa celebrations
The Aston Villa fans were not only dealt defeat but twice their celebrations turned to sorrow thanks to VAR.
Firstly when the penalty kick was wiped off for a free-kick after Joe Willock went down just on the edge of the box. Villa fans up in Level 7 celebrated the decision like a goal but Newcastle fans knew better - signing 'Kieran Trippier over the wall' before the full-back fired into the back of the net.
The Villa faithful fell silent.
Then in the second half when Ollie Watkins scored, the away end sparked into life and a flare was lit amongst the celebrations - with the quick help of the authorities, and the not-so quick decision making of the video assistant referee, the flare and the celebrations quickly disappeared.

Chris Wood's determination to score
Chris Wood's last goal in the Premier League came back in November - since then it's nine games and no goals.
When Willock went down and the initial decision was a penalty, Wood grabbed the ball and made it clear it was his spot-kick to have.
As it was, the decision was chalked off but it was good to see Wood have the confidence in himself to lay claim to it.
A moment later, Wood raced through towards the box and despite Ryan Fraser being clear on the right, he fired at goal. Yes, it went high and wide into the Leazes End but a good striker has that selfish streak in him to take that opportunity.
He may not be hitting the net but his determination and that selfish streak will get him there soon rather than later.
Javier Manquillo's 100th Newcastle United appearance
All the focus has been on the likes of Joelinton and the way he has improved under Eddie Howe - but a longer-term improvement is Javier Manquillo.
A man brought in by Rafa Benitez because of his versatility, and also because the budget was tight.
Four years later, he's a much better defender than he was when he first arrived and for some is an unsung hero of this Newcastle side.
Up against Matty Cash and Emi Buendía , Manquillo kept the pair quiet as he usually does, in a fashion that will rarely grab the headlines.
He made three out of his four ground duels, completed 86% of his passes and helped keep the balance at the back.
It was a shame to see him go off just after the break.
Steven Gerrard looking like a 'beaten man'
With the game into added time, the camera panned to Aston Villa boss Steve Gerrard slumped in his seat in the dugout with the Liverpool legend described by the commentator as 'looking like a beaten man.'
And that he did.
It was clear in his post-match comments that he was not happy with his side's performance.
"I think everything was wrong today. I don't think we were at it - we were miles away from where I want to be. We have got what we deserved."
It was a testament to Newcastle's efforts that they kept Villa quiet and angered Gerrard given the start to the job he's made.
