A Roy Keane quip from Ally McCoist brought the house down in London as he was named pundit of the year on Monday evening.

The Daily Record reports that The Rangers legend was given the gong at the British Sports Journalism Awards for his work with talkSPORT, ITV and BT Sport.

McCoist fended off stiff competition from the likes of Alan Shearer and Ian Wright to win the top prize. Roy Keane was up for the award as well, and McCoist's savage one liner at Keane's expense had those in attendance in stitches.
