Ibrox icon Ally McCoist was still buzzing as he delivered a morning after verdict on Rangers' Europa League heroics.
The pundit and legendary striker went viral on Thursday night with his reaction to the Kemar Roofe goal which sent his old club into the last four on a thrilling night at Ibrox.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst 's side overturned a 1-0 first leg deficit to send Braga tumbling out on a monumental occasion for the club.
BT Sport footage showed McCoist unable to contain his glee as Roofe swept home the extra time winner, embracing an until-now unknown colleague on the gantry.
A noticeably hoarse McCoist, speaking from onboard a plane as he waited for his flight to take off, admitted he had no idea who his new pal (a BT Sport cameraman) was until they came together last night.
Asked about the clip on talkSPORT, McCoist replied: "Is that when I got slightly overexcited at the goal?
"Can I let you in on a secret? The gentleman I was hugging, no idea (who he was).
"It was the first time I'd met him last night, he was a cameraman. And I had absolutely no idea who he was.
"However, we're now best of pals!"
McCoist confessed Rangers had put him through the wringer after making excruciatingly hard work of a contest they completely dominated.
A double from James Tavernier had the Premiership champions cruising before David Carmo's late header forced extra-time for 10-man.
Roofe struck after the restart to restore Rangers' advantage but even when the visitors were reduced to nine men, nobody inside Ibrox dared breathe easy until the final whistle.
McCoist said: "I've got to tell you, it was an absolutely unbelievable night.
"They really, really put us through the mill. It could've been three, four, five - anything you wanted - but then in true style we lost the goal with seven minutes to go to take it into extra time.
"But the main thing is we join West Ham in the semi-finals. I'm so, so pleased for everybody.
"It was absolutely bedlam - and just to let you know, I'm on a plane right in case you hear beeping, stewardesses speaking and captains speaking! That's what I'm doing.
"It was crazy. I had an earpiece in when I was doing TV and I couldn't hear a word Kenny Miller or Darrell (Currie) were saying, such was the volume of noise.
"The atmosphere... I've seen that place rocking a few times but that last night was as good as anything, what a performance from the supporters."
