The renowned dancer and widow of Stephen 'tWitch' Boss will grace the show's forthcoming 18th season as a judge. Allison shared the exciting news on her Instagram Story on Thursday, marking her first appearance on the series since her husband's tragic passing in 2022. The photos she posted from her trailer exuded anticipation and gratitude, capturing her delight at being back on set and expressing gratitude towards her glam team.
Allison's appointment as a new judge was announced by So You Think You Can Dance last December. Her appointment follows in the footsteps of her husband tWitch, who previously served as a judge in seasons 15 and 17. Joining Allison for season 18 are fellow Dancing With the Stars alumni Maksim Chmerkovskiy and returning judge JoJo Siwa. However, longtime judge Nigel Lythgoe, who was expected to return, parted ways with the show in January amidst allegations of sexual assault.
