Alleged killer says intruder attacked her

A Sydney woman sobbed repeatedly during a police interview as she described coming out of the shower to be confronted by a disguised intruder who choked and bashed her.

"He got me by the throat and I couldn't breathe," Isabela Carolina Camelo-Gomez said in her November 4, 2001 interview played to the jury at her murder trial on Thursday.
