Allan McGregor is on the brink of extending his playing career at Rangers.
The veteran goalkeeper has knocked back a mega bucks contract from Saudi Arabia to continue his Ibrox journey report the Daily Record.
They say the 40-year-old is set to pen a new deal with the club expected to announce the news imminently.
Following positive talks, McGregor will head into a 16th year as a first team star at Rangers over two spells.

His contract expired this summer and after he appeared for what looked like a swansong in the Scottish Cup Final win over Hearts, many speculated it was his farewell.
However, he's ready for the challenge of another season as Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men bid to reach the Champions League group stages via qualifiers and win back the Scottish Premiership title from Celtic.
McGregor was a key player at Rangers last season and had a major say in the run to the Europa League final.

Jon McLaughlin has been touted for a chance as the No1 at Ibrox.
Robby McCrorie - linked with a stunning move to Manchester United - is also on the books as the club gear up for a return to pre-season next week.
McGregor's extension would see him follow fellow veterans Steven Davis and Scott Arfield in continuing his Rangers stay.
It would be another boost for the Ibrox men who were handed one earlier this month by Connor Goldson after he agreed a new long-term deal.
