Allan completes Everton exit
United Arab Emirates-based club Al Wahda have announced the signing of Allan.
The Brazilian looks set to leave Everton after two years and 57 appearances for the club, with Al Wahda tweeting out a photo of the midfielder in full kit alongside the caption: “Welcome Allan to home of champions.”

A later tweet from the UAE club detailed the permanent signing of the 31-year-old on a two-year contract. Everton are yet to confirm the move themselves, but the former Napoli midfielder's time at Goodison Park looks all-but over.
After signing for around £21million in 2020, Allan played a key role in midfield under Carlo Ancelotti. But the defensive midfielder failed to nail down a place under Frank Lampard and has fallen down the pecking order over the summer, with the club signing Amadou Onana, Idrissa Gueye and James Garner.
Branthwaite on PSV move
Jarrad Branthwaite has shared hopes of returning to Everton a more well-rounded player after his loan at PSV Eindhoven.
The 20-year-old has bedded into Dutch football with ease, playing the full 90 minutes on two occasions and scoring in his side's 4-3 win against rivals Feyenoord last weekend. He has joined up with former Toffees director of football Marcel Brands, who works in the same role at PSV now.
And speaking to PSV's YouTube channel, the Everton loanee detailed the special relationship he has with the 60-year-old and how he has settled into life in the Netherlands.
“Marcel signed me from Carlisle for Everton and we’ve had a really good connection since then, not just with me but my agent and family as well," Branthwaite said. "Once he phoned me and said PSV wanted me to come, it was a no-brainer. I have trust in him and it’s a great club."
