Allahabad HC extends stay on urban local body polls notification by one more day

LUCKNOW: The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court on Tuesday extended the stay on issuing notification for urban local body election till Wednesday.

The bench of Justice DK Upadhyaya and Justice Saurabh Lavania took the government reply in the local body elections matter on record and placed the matter for next hearing on Wednesday. The bench passed the order on a bunch of PILs led by petitioner Vaibhav Pandey’s petition.
