All Together Now festival issue apology over act they say 'do not align with' their views after performing

Waterford festival All Together Now has issued an apology over an act they say "do not align with the views" of the event after they spoke on Saturday.

The popular festival in Portlaw, Co Waterford has a huge line-up of singers and speakers across the bank holiday weekend with huge crowds descending on the south-east.

Feminist campaigners Rachel Moran and Stella O'Malley spoke on Saturday but had been called out by some on Twitter for their views, with some asking for them not to be allowed on stage.
