All the stars behind the crazy costumes on Masked Singer I'm A Celebrity special

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and The Masked Singer have combined their equally popular series to create a one-off special episode.

The two ITV shows have come together for the exclusive TV event tonight, and viewers have now called for producers to make the one-off episode a permanent fixture.

The Masked Singer has take. on a jungle theme which mimics the beloved programme as it makes it's explosive return tonight as the stars of 2022 have returned to the Australian jungle, after two years of being filmed in the UK due to coronavirus restrictions.

Excited ITV viewers saw the unidentifiable celebrities dressed head to toe in an array of crazy costumes adhering to the nature theme such as kangaroos and witchetty grubs.

Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan all returned as judges as they try their best to figure out which former I'm A Celebrity stars are behind the extravagant costumes.

Meanwhile, in a shake-up of the original format, presenter Joel Dommett will be put through his paces, where instead of earning food for camp, he’ll be tasked with hunting down the clues for the judging panel.

After all their stellar performances tonight, Masked Singer viewers gasped as each of the stars were unveiled.

First up, Witchetty Grub was unveiled as This Morning star Alison Hammond after her spectacular rendition of Moving On Up, despite the judges guessing that it may be Kim Woodburn or Gemma Collins behind the mask.

Elsewhere, viewers were convinced that it was Carol Vorderman belting out the tunes.

Next up, Cockroach was unmasked as singing sensation, Russell Watson after judge Mo guessed that it was Radio DJ Roman Kemp behind the bizarre costume.

Taking to Twitter, viewers shared their relations, with one tweeting: "I just KNEW that was Russell Watson behind that mask. The mannerisms gave it away."

"I am LOVING Masked Singer with all the I'm A Celeb stars!! It was such a good line-up. They should have this all year round. Loved Russell's performance" another echoed.

After Russell was named as Cockroach, it was Sinitta Malone who was unveiled as Kangaroo after Davina McCall insisted that it was Stacey Solomon belting out the Zara Larsson track.

And finally, I'm A Celeb legend Vernon Kay took off his Koala mask as both the audience and the judges gasped.

One fan quipped: "Give me any kind of show with past I'm A Celeb stars and I'm there. Pass me the popcorn."
