A number of supermarket chains and high street shops are set to close next Monday, September 19 for the Queen's funeral.
The Queen died on Thursday at her Scottish estate in Balmoral. A bank holiday across the UK was approved by King Charles III for the day of his mother's funeral.
Popular grocery retailers including Asda, Aldi, Tesco and Sainsbury's have all confirmed their closure for the day, Sainsbury's will also pause its online shopping options on the day. We've rounded up a list of clothing retailers as well as high street stores that will be closed on the day.

Sainsbury’s & Argos
All Sainsburys supermarkets and Argos stores will be closed on Monday, September 19. This also includes Groceries Online and Argos Fast Track delivery.
Convenience stores and petrol filling stations will be open from 5pm-10pm to allow our customers to pick up essential items and select stores in central London will open to serve those attending the funeral.
Aldi
Aldi has confirmed it will close all its stores for the Queen's funeral. On Twitter, the company said: "As a mark of respect, all Aldi stores across the UK will close on Monday September 19 to allow our store colleagues to pay tribute to Her Majesty The Queen."
Morrisons
Morrisons will also be closing its stores on the day of the Queen's funeral as a mark of respect.
H&M
Popular high street store H&M has confirmed its closure for the day. A spokesperson said: "We extend our sincere condolences on the death of Her Majesty The Queen to the Royal Family and to everyone affected by this news. As a mark of respect, we will be closing all H&M stores in the UK on the day of the State Funeral, Monday 19th September."
Primark
Primark confirmed it will shut all its 191 high street stores next Monday. The popular fashion chain said its stores will reopen for normal hours the following day.
A Primark spokeswoman said: "Our stores, depots and head office in the UK will be closed on Monday September 19 to give our colleagues the opportunity to pay their respects and watch the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We will reopen as normal on Tuesday September 20."

John Lewis
John Lewis has confirmed it will also shut all its stores as a mark of respect, this also includes Waitrose supermarkets as part of The John Lewis Partnership.
B&M
B&M has confirmed it will close for the day of the funeral. A spokesperson from B&M said: "We are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty, The Queen. We would like to express our deepest condolences to the Royal Family, as well as our gratitude to Her Majesty, The Queen for her lifetime of unwavering service.
As a mark of respect, all B&M stores across the UK will be closed on Monday 19th September to commemorate the passing of our late monarch."
Asda
Supermarket giant Asda will close all its stores from midnight on Sunday, September 18, to 5pm on Monday and reopen after the funeral service. There will be no online deliveries on 19 September.
Poundland
Poundland has said all its 770 UK stores will close for the day, and staff scheduled to work on September 19 will also receive their pay in full.
River Island
A spokeswoman for River Island has also confirmed that stores will be closing for the day of the Queen's funeral.
B&Q
B&Q will close all of its UK stores on Monday 19 September. Click and collect and home delivery services will also be suspended on the day.
Dreams
Dreams chief executive Jonathan Hirst said: "Our heartfelt sympathy and thoughts are with the royal family at this sad time. We will be closing all areas of our business, including our stores, and pausing all deliveries on Monday September 19 so that our colleagues can come together with the rest of the country to pay their respects to Her Majesty the Queen."
Lush
Lush will be closing its stores on Monday for the Queen's funeral. A spokesperson said: "As a mark of respect, we're closing the UK and Northern Ireland shops on Monday."
IKEA
Ikea will close on the day of the Queen's funeral. A spokesperson for IKEA said: "Out of respect for Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and to allow our co-workers to pay their respects, all IKEA stores and business operations across the United Kingdom will be closed on Monday 19th September."
Lidl
Supermarket Lidl will also close on Monday, September 19. A spokesperson from LIDL said: "In honour of Her Majesty and to allow our colleagues to pay their respects, we will be closing all of our stores across England, Scotland and Wales on the day of the funeral. Thank you to everyone for your understanding."
Currys
Popular tech store Currys has also confirmed its closure for the day.
Dunelm
A spokesperson from Dunelm said: "On Monday 19th September, as a mark of our respect for Her Majesty The Queen, we will be closing all Dunelm stores and pausing delivery, Click & Collect and customer services. We will reopen on Tuesday 20th September."
Tesco
Larger Tesco supermarkets will close all day and the smaller Express stores will shut until 5pm. Tesco UK chief executive John Tarry said: "We want to express our deepest condolences to the Royal Family, as well as our gratitude to Her Majesty The Queen for her unwavering service."
M&S
Marks and Spencer stores will be closed all day with some 'limited exceptions'. There will be no customer delivery services.
Co-op
Co-op stores will close until 5pm on Monday when they will reopen for customers.
Homebase
A spokesperson from Homebase said: ‘We join the country in mourning the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II and will be closing our stores on the day of her funeral, Monday 19 September.’ It added that the decision had been made ‘so our team members can choose to mark her incredible life of service.’
Apple stores
Apple stores across the UK will reportedly close for the day.
WH Smith
WH Smith stores will be closed for the day. WH Smith Travel stores will also be closed for 'at least the duration of the funeral'.
Halfords
Stores, garages, and support centres will be closed, and Halfords Mobile Experts will not be operating.
Home Bargains
Home Bargains will also be closed for the day. A spokesperson for Home Bargains said: "We send our deepest condolences to the Royal Family at this difficult time.
"All Home Bargains stores will be closed on Monday 19th September to allow our colleagues and customers the opportunity to pay their respects to Her Majesty the Queen."
Next
Clothing retailer Next will close for the day of the Queen's funeral on Monday.
Matalan
Clothing retailer Matalan has also confirmed it will close on the day of the Queen's funeral.
Zara
Zara will close on the day as a mark of respect.
Waterstones
Book retailer Waterstones will close on Monday September 19 for the Queen's funeral.
Wilko
Wilko will also shut for the day. Jerome Saint-Marc, wilko CEO, said: “The whole Wilko family continues to mourn the loss of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
“As a mark of respect, we will be closing our stores all day on Monday 19 th September so that team members can commemorate the life and service of Her Majesty with their families.”
