There will be extensive road closures throughout Cardiff on Friday as King Charles and the Queen Consort visit Wales. They will be visiting the capital on Friday for a thanksgiving service at Llandaff Cathedral followed by receptions at the Senedd and Cardiff Castle.
Cardiff Council is urging anyone travelling to the city for the royal visit on September 16 to plan their journey in advance and to leave plenty of time to get into the city.
Preparations have been underway in Llandaff throughout the week to prepare for the day. Llandaff Cathedral will be the first port of call on their visit to attend a remembrance service. The day after the Queen's death a notice was put outside the cathedral announcing that it had closed until further notice in order to prepare for the service. You can leave your tribute to the Queen here

Potholes have been filled in, posts are being painted and verges are being cut back, and local residents were asked to move their cars at the start of the week. You can read more about that here.
People are also being strong urged to use public transport where possible on Friday.
A spokesman for Cardiff Council said: "Local residents are strongly encouraged to leave their car at home and either take the bus, train or walk and cycle if they are able. Accessibility and opportunities for viewing and parking may be limited, particularly for the Llandaff event where several road closures and parking restrictions have already been put in place.
"Better opportunities to see the Royal Party will be available at the castle and the Senedd. Our advice is to plan ahead, dress for the weather, bring plenty of water, prepare for long periods of standing, expect crowds and watch out for those around you and with you. More details on the visit will be published as soon as we are allowed."
The council is working with the Welsh Government and South Wales Police to manage any congested areas, with significant numbers of stewards drafted in alongside police officers to help keep the public safe.
