The year is nearing its end, but there are still a handful of new Disney movies on the way for 2026. And, looking ahead to 2027 and beyond, a ton of exciting upcoming movies have now also been confirmed. In fact, from fresh animated stories to some sci-fi outings and more live-action remakes, fans of the House of Mouse are pretty spoilt for choice.
2026 has already given us the first new Star Wars movie in seven years, The Mandalorian and Grogu, and next year we'll get to enjoy another trip to the galaxy far, far away on the big screen too. Toy Story 5 has also recently released (which you can read more about in our Toy Story 5 reactions round-up), and a Moana live-action also came and went. However, a fresh witchy animated movie is still on the way, and there are some more grown-up Disney offerings to keep an eye on, with a Ridley Scott movie to keep track of. In short, there's plenty worth getting excited about.
