June is an absolutely massive month for gigs in Manchester, kicking off with Liam Gallagher on June 1, and ending with the Sounds of the City festival down at Castlefield. And the good news? There’s still tickets available for most of them
As well as Sounds of the City, June also sees Parklife 2022 at Heaton Park, as well as stadium gigs like Harry Styles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ed Sheeran and The Killers.
Billie Eilish will be heading to the AO Arena, as well as Alisha Keys, Barry Manilow and Diana Ross.

Last month saw Neighbourhood Weekender head to the city, as well as Little Mix’s final tour, Pet Shop Boys, Bloc Party and 00s sensation JoJo. And if you fancy heading to a gig next month, you can bag tickets to some of these shows from as little as £18.20.
Liam Gallagher will be at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, June 1 , with limited seated tickets available from £62.10 towards the back of the stadium, but super fans can pick up a VIP package from £106.
The former Oasis frontman quickly sold out two days at Knebworth, later adding a hugely popular Manchester date. His fourth solo studio album C’MON YOU KNOW was released last Friday, May 27 ahead of the show.
The following week, 20-year-old Billie Eilish, best known for her songs Bad Guy and Bond theme song No Time To Die, will take on the AO Arena for two nights. From June 7 to June 8, the seven-time Grammy Award-winning artist will bring her Happier than Ever tour to the city to celebrate her sophomore album, which was released last year.
Ed Sheeran will take on the Etihad Stadium for three nights from June 9 to June 11. Throughout the ’10s, Sheeran was awarded six BRITs, an MBE for his services to music and charity, four Ivor Novello Awards, four Grammys and seven Billboard Music Awards. The Official UK Charts Company also crowned him their Official No.1 Artist of the Decade 2010-2019, so it’s no wonder tickets have been selling like hot cakes for this one.
A decade after releasing his debut album +, Ed Sheeran released shivers from his fourth album, Equals, which came out in October. He announced the Mathematics Tour in September, which runs from May 26 to July 1. There are still a handful of unreserved standing tickets available for the shows from £82.
In early March 2021, The Killers announced the UK dates of their The Mirage Tour were being rescheduled to summer 2022, with an extra show added at Falkirk Stadium. They’ll be taking over Emirates Old Trafford on June 11, playing tracks from an 18-year catalogue since the release of Hot Fuss. Standing tickets are available from £71.50, but some tickets are in excess of £200.
Mid-month, Parklife will see rap icon 50 Cent will also head to Heaton Park for a UK festival exclusive, alongside Megan Thee Stallion and chart-topping artist Lewis Capaldi, who will return later in the month for Sounds of the City.
Weekend general tickets and Saturday day tickets are completely sold out, but you can still get Sunday tickets for under £100, priced at £92.95. However, if you do want to head down for the whole weekend, you’re looking at £ 219.45 per ticket for Weekend VIP entry.
Tickets are sparse for Harry Styles , who’s performing on June 15 and 16 at Emirates Old Trafford, with resale standing tickets going for £202. His Love On Tour shows were postponed due to the pandemic and finally started in September 2021 in Las Vegas.
Harry performed over 40 shows throughout the US at the end of last year winning praise from fans and critics alike. His shows are packed with his global hit singles including 'Sign of the Times', 'Lights Up', 'Adore You', 'Watermelon Sugar' and 'Kiwi'. In May 2022, Styles released his latest album, Harry’s House, which is already a hit with fans.
Southern Californian funk rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers are embarking on a 32-city global stadium tour that kicks off on June 4, 2022 at Estadio La Cartuja in Seville, Spain with stops in London, Paris, Dublin, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and, of course, Manchester.
The 2022 stadium tour marks John Frusciante’s first outing with the band since rejoining in 2019 and coincides with the 30th anniversary of their fifth album Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Unreserved standing tickets start at £90 , with VIP packages ranging from £202 to £469.
Sounds of the City is back in June 2022 , taking over Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl for a series of headline concerts, featuring Lewis Capaldi, Foals, Crowded House, James, Pixies, Sam Fender and Hacienda Classical.
