All the films you can watch this summer holidays from £2.49 at Vue Cinema

The summer holidays are here and what better way to spend a day out with the family than a trip to the cinema? Vue is showing a fabulous and fun mix of new and classic family favourites to the big screen this summer holiday - with some tickets as little as £2.49.

Film-loving families can catch their favourite movies and enjoy refreshments like Tango Ice Blasts in front of the big screen, with films like Shaun The Sheep: Farmageddon, Chicken Run and the hugely popular Minions: Rise of Gru being shown.

Everyone has been enjoying the return of Gru and his mischievous mini masters of mayhem in the movie , which will be showing at Vue throughout the summer. The animated prequel introduces the origins of Gru in his quest to become the world’s greatest supervillain and how he met his iconic Minions to help him with his devious deeds.

Fans of the film can even get a taste of Minions’ favourite flavour, as a limited-edition banana and strawberry Tango Ice Blast is also available at all Vue venues especially for the release of the film.

Another heroic tale of adventure comes in the form of Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder , which sees Thor embark on his most far out quest to date to find inner peace. And for fans of the DC universe, DC League of Super-Pets , will see Krypto the Super-Dog rescue the kidnapped Superman and the Justice League with a ragtag shelter pack of Super-Pets.

Regarded as one of the greatest children’s films of all times, Lionel Jeffries’ adaption of E. Nesbit’s much-loved bestseller, The Railway Children, is also screening, as well as classics like Jumanji and Paddington, providing plenty of perfect family moments at Vue during the school holidays.

  • Star Trek: The Motion Picture – Friday 19 August

  • Shaun The Sheep: Farmageddon – Friday 26 August

  • Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – Friday 26 August

Vue also hosts Mini Morning screenings, which take place every day at 10an during the holidays where families can see the latest kids films at £2.49 a ticket when purchased online, and £3.49 in person. All other screenings for every film, every day are available from just £4.99 at over 50 Vue venues across the UK when booked online.

The Mini Morning screenings change weekly, and include:

  • Wallace and Gromit – Friday 19 August

  • Pirates – Friday 26 August

  • Lightyear – Friday 2 September
