Edinburgh Castle is set to host multiple fantastic gigs this July with city residents and tourists primed to be entertained this summer.
Both Road Stewart and The Who will play over two nights at the iconic location in the city centre.
Whilst both the Lumineers and Dermot Kennedy will perform over a single night either side of the aforementioned acts.

The Lumineers will take to the castle promenade on July 5, with Rod Stewart following on July 6 & 7, The Who July 8 & 9 and Dermot Kennedy July 13.
In order to ensure that the acts can be properly set up and that concert goers are safe travelling to and from the concerts, Edinburgh City Council will be putting a number of road closures in place.
The first set of closures will run from July 5 until July 17 from 7am until 1am, they will include:
- Castlehill, Ramsay Lane
- Ramsay Garden
- Mound Place which will be closed from 7am until 1am each day.
The second closures will fall directly on the day of the concerts, July 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 13, and will run from 4pm until midnight, they will include:
- Johnston Terrace
- Lawnmarket
- Castle Wynd North Steps
- Upper Bow
Those wishing to travel into the city centre or to check travel arrangements closer to the time have been advised to keep up to date with the council website.
