Swifties are in a serious state of shock after Thursday night's sighting of Taylor Swift and Matty Healy.
Just weeks after the 33-year-old global superstar broke up with British actor Joe Alwyn, who she had been loved-up with for more than six years, rumours that she was seeing The 1975 frontman swirled.
Reports said that she would step out with the Manchester-born rocker, 34, last weekend in Nashville - with the gossip proving to be true when he showed up to all three of her shows.
And then, on Thursday, May 11, Taylor was spotted by a fan's dad at New York City's Casa Cipriani, with the blonde beauty holding hands with Matty - which has seemingly confirmed their rumoured romance.
Fans are hoping that Taylor's newfound romance with Matty is just a rebound relationship, with quite a few comparing it to a previous rebound romance she had seven years ago.
Back in 2016 Taylor famously dated British actor Tom Hiddleston after splitting from Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.
The Hiddleswift romance between the two stars began at the Met Gala when Taylor and Tom danced - what is now known as the Getaway Car dance - together.
Spending the summer together before calling it quits in September 2016, there are quite a few signs that Taylor and Matty have a similar bond, with fans convinced that they mirror each other.

Low-key sightings
Just like Tom, Taylor and Matty's relationship has entered the public eye with low-key sightings.
Similar to the Getaway Car dance at the Met Gala, a couple of months before Taylor and Matty's romance hit the headlines, it was foreshadowed when she appeared on-stage with The 1975 in January at the O2 Arena.
And then since rumours really heated up last month following her split from Joe, the couple have been seen at Taylor's gig.
Although not arm-in-arm, Matty appeared at all three of her Nashville shows that saw the Blank Space singer on-stage performing at her Eras Tour while he rocked out in the VIP area.
The pair were also spotted being driven to Taylor's condo, with them both sat beside one another, which came shortly before Matty got coffee near her flat.

The curse of the yellow dress
Ah. The yellow dress.
Taylor rocks pretty much any colour - just look at the dresses she dons on tour - she can really pull anything off.
But there's something about Taylor wearing a yellow dress that screams rebound - according to fans.
Just weeks after Tom and Taylor met at the Met Gala, the couple spent the summer together, with them even jetting off to Italy together for a sun-soaked, loved-up holiday together.
And what colour dress was Taylor seen wearing while on holiday with Tom? Oh yeah, yellow.
Fans are now convinced that this proves that Taylor and Matty's bond is that of a rebound.
"Historically, a yellow dress has been a cry for help," penned one fan on Twitter.
While another added: "Taylor in a yellow dress after breaking up with a long relationship and jumping into a new one super fast? I think I've seen this film before and we all know how it ended."
And a third person wrote: "Maybe it’s just another getaway car moment."
Wearing a Taylor t-shirt
Back in 2014 Taylor stepped out in t-shirt with The 1975's logo on the front of it, which soon led to Matty donning a t-shirt with Taylor's 1989 album cover on it.
Making a sweet reference to 2014, the rocker showed up to The Eras Tour, Nashville on the closing night in a 1989 t-shirt.
According to fans on Twitter, the t-shirt was given to Matty by a fan, but nonetheless, it mirrors what Tom Hiddleston is famed for doing on July 4, 2016.
On American Independence Day seven years ago, during Taylor's rebound romance with Tom, he was seen wearing the iconic "I heart T.S." t-shirt.
Possible PR stunt?
Many fans think that Taylor and Matty's romance could be a PR stunt, with some even theorising that she could be reenacting her romance with Tom as an Easter egg for the re-release of her Reputation album - or her 1989 as per the T-shirt he donned.
Although fans think and reports say that Taylor and Tom's 2016 summer romance was a publicity stunt, Tom affirmed in 2017 that their bond was "real".
Either way, it ended with Taylor writing Getaway Car, which was allegedly about Tom, for her hit Reputation album that went on to sell out stadiums.
"Taylor Swift dating Matty Healy so that she can drop drop Reputation re-records," penned one fan on Twitter, in regards to the new blossoming romance.
While a second echoed: "I honestly think Taylor is dating Matty so that she can release Reputation tv."
And a third added: "My conspiracy theory ass is currently thinking… what if now she’s announced Speak Now TV, Taylor is “allegedly dating” Matty Healy cause she wants to get everyone talking but all this is a PR stunt and really after Speak Now she’ll release Reputation TV."
One fan has pointed out though, that Taylor and Matty's relationship could be the real deal because she was snapped by the paparazzi with Tom, whereas with Matty it's mainly fan-shot snaps.
