All the classic TV themes BBC Strictly stars are dancing to this week including Grange Hill and The Apprentice

This weekend, Strictly Come Dancing celebrates 100 years of the BBC. The show will open with a group number that sees the Strictly professionals and judges gate crash some of the biggest BBC flagship shows.

For the first time ever, the couples will perform to either an iconic BBC theme tune or dance, bosses have revealed. A spokeswoman for the BBC said: "It is in tribute to one of the BBC’s most loved services. It promises to be an unforgettable night of celebration and dance."

It comes after Matt Goss was the latest contestant to be sent home from the dance competition. The Bros singer and his partner Nadiya Bychkova left after the judges chose to save Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima in the dreaded dance-off, which aired on BBC One on Sunday, October 16. And there were tears.

They followed Richie Anderson and Giovanni Pernice who became the second duo to be voted off by the judges last Sunday. Taking to the dance floor again following the public vote, Matt and Nadiya, who have been in the dance-off once before, performed the Jive to Paul McCartney's version of 'All Shook Up, while Kym and Graziano performed their Samba to Volare by Gipsy Kings.
