Swansea is set for a huge summer of live music with major artists set to perform across the city over the course of three months. The home of Swansea City Football Club, Singleton Park and Swansea Arena will all attract thousands upon thousands of music fans attending big name gigs which have been lined up.
There's five big open air outdoor gigs in the city's live music calendar, whilst there are also some much-anticipated acts performing indoors, arriving from the US, Scotland and England.
Here, we've compiled a guide of when and where the acts will be performing, and the ones where you can still get your hands on tickets.

Arctic Monkeys
Date: Monday, June 12 Venue: Swansea.com Stadium
Arctic Monkeys will play the Swansea.com Stadium on June 12, 2023. The tour will be in support of their seventh studio album, The Car, which comes four and a half years after their last album, Tranquillity Base Hotel and Casino, and 16 years after their smash-hit debut, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not.

Madness
Date: Friday, July 21 Venue: Singleton Park
British pop band Madness will be taking over Singleton Park on Friday, July 21, 2023, and will be accompanied by special guests. Tickets are being sold through websites including Gigantic.com and the Madness band website. Madness famously emerged from the backstreets of Camden Town in the late 70s and recently released a three-part original docuseries with TV channel AMC about the band's beginnings. Throughout their career, Madness have had ten UK top ten albums, and 15 top ten singles and have won a multitude of awards including a prestigious Ivor Novello. They are best known for their songs Our House, It Must Be Love and House of Fun.
Ministry of Sound Classical
Date: Saturday, July 22 Venue: Singleton Park
Ministry of Sound Classical heads to Swansea's Singleton Park on July 22. The show will feature the biggest dance tracks reimagined with an orchestral makeover.
The show will feature some never heard before classical remakes of iconic dance anthems, including The Chemical Brothers' 'Hey Boy Hey Girl', Dario G's 'Sunchyme', Faithless's 'Insomnia', Fatboy Slim's 'Right Here, Right Now' and Moloko's 'Sing It Back'.
The show will feature special guests Roger Sanchez, K-Klass and Big Al. Tom Grennan
Date: Sunday, July 23 Venue: Singleton Park
Chart-topping singer Tom Grennan will play Singleton Park on Sunday, July 23. The singer has already had four UK Top 10 singles. Two of his platinum-selling anthems, Little Bit Of Love and By Your Side, scored in the Top Three most-played songs of 2021 and both are taken from Tom’s breakthrough UK chart-topping album Evering Road.
And a hat-trick of his 2022 songs, Remind Me, Not Over Yet with KSI and Lionheart (Fearless) with Joel Corry, have all been named in The Biggest Songs of 2022 by The Official Big Top 40. Sam Ryder
Date: Friday, August 18 Venue: Singleton Park
Singer songwriter Sam Ryder, who helped the United Kingdom achieve a second place finish in the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, will take centre stage at the park on August 18.
It has been a meteoric rise to fame for the 33-year-old, after he first rose to prominence through TikTok, where he posted music covers through lockdown, catching the attention of Elton John and Alicia Keys, and becoming the most followed UK artist on the social media platform. He later signed a music contract with Parlophone, leading to the release of his first EP, which had 100 million global streams.
He is best known for his hit song Spaceman, which he performed at Eurovision, and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Concert. It reached number two in the UK charts, and his first album which followed, entitled 'There's Nothing But Space, Man!' topped the charts.
Ryder will be supported at Singleton Park by Casey Lowry, an indie artist from Chesterfield, together with Swansea indie rock band Who's Molly. More acts are set to be announced in due course, according to Escape Records, which is promoting the event. You can get tickets by clicking here.
The Sherlocks
Date: Friday, June 16 Venue: Patti Pavilion
Popular indie rock band The Sherlocks have announced they will be performing in Swansea later this year.
The group, made up of brothers Kiaran and Brandon Crook along with Alex Procter and Trent Jackson, will take to the stage at the Patti Pavilion on Friday, June 16. They will be supported by Swansea favourites Where's Molly?
Promoted by OTB Promotions VIP, the show comes on the back of sell-out gigs and a run of shows which has seen them support Liam Gallagher, Kings of Leon, and Kaiser Chiefs.
One of their recent singles, Sirens, was featured as BBC Radio 1's Tune of the Week, and their new single Don't Let It Out, promises to be just as successful. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
Hollywood Vampires
Date: Friday, July 7 Venue: Swansea Arena
The American super group, Hollywood Vampires - whose members are actor Johnny Depp, rocker Alice Cooper and Aerosmith lead guitarist Joe Perry - will be coming to Swansea Arena on July 7, 2023.
The self-described “best bar band in the world” consist of core members and rock legends Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Aerosmith's Joe Perry, together with guitarist Tommy Henriksen. Their tradition is to play a riotous tribute to the great lost heroes of music and their own original material, released on their studio album Rise.
The band, who sing covers of The Who, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Motörhead and more, as well as some original tracks, were due to tour the UK in 2020 but that was cancelled due to the pandemic. The intervening period also saw the very public defamation trial during which Depp sued ex-wife, Aquaman star Amber Heard, for claims of domestic abuse, and the seven-member jury ruled in the Pirates of the Caribbean actor's favour. The gig is now sold out.
The Proclaimers
Date: Friday, August 18 Venue: Swansea Arena
Twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid, better known as The Proclaimers, will be performing at Swansea Arena on Friday, August 18. The duo emerged 35 years ago with their debut album This Is The Story and Top three single Letter from America.
Since then their enduring appeal across generations has over the years seen them enjoy huge success across the globe. They are best known for their hit I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles). Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
Busted
Date: Tuesday, September 5 Venue: Swansea Arena
Popular noughties boy band Busted have announced a comeback tour in celebration of their 20th anniversary, with Charlie Simpson, Matt Willis and James Bourne reuniting for a Greatest Hits concert series across the UK - including a sold out date at Swansea Arena on Tuesday, September 5.
Alongside this 20th Anniversary Greatest Hits tour - which will also feature Hanson - Busted will be releasing an album filled with reimagined versions of their iconic songs - such as 'Airhostess' and 'What I Go To School For' - and will feature other classic 2000s bands such as All Time Low, Simple Plan and McFly - with whom James and Matt joined forces between 2013 and 2015 to create a supergroup.
Announcing the news on their social media, they wrote: "A decade is a long time, two decades is an even longer time. We can’t wait to see you. #Busted20"
Nothing But Thieves
Date: Tuesday, November 7 Venue: Swansea Arena
Five-piece alternative rock band Nothing But Thieves will bring their 'Welcome To The DCC' world tour to Swansea Arena on November 7. It will follow the release of their fourth album ‘Dead Club City’ on July 7.
Over the last few years, the Southend band, made up of members Conor Mason (vocals, guitars), Joe Langridge-Brown (guitars), Dominic Craik (guitars, keyboard), Philip Blake (bass guitar) and James Price (drums), have amassed over 1.2 million worldwide album sales, two billion worldwide streams and 250 million video views, and have built up a loyal and wide following for their impactful alt rock sound.
