A number of regularly scheduled TV programmes have been moved or suspended amid health concerns for Queen Elizabeth II.
BBC One pulled all of its regular programming from air today, following the announcement that Queen Elizabeth II was under medical supervision at Balmoral on Thursday afternoon. The broadcast of Bargain Hunt was cut short as a BBC newsreader confirmed the news.
They said: "Welcome to viewers on BBC One. We have had news from Buckingham Palace that the Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral."

The broadcasters announced that the news would be remaining on air, cancelling all regular programming. Buckingham Palace released a rare statement at the time, confirming the news that was shared on the BBC. They said the 96-year-old remains comfortable and is staying at Balmoral, and is not in hospital.
The statement read: "Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral."
Programmes such as Celebrity Masterchef, EastEnders, The One Show and Ambulance will not air as scheduled.
ITV has taken a similar approach to its broadcasting. The Chase, which was due to air at 5pm, was cancelled to make way for a special news programme about Her Majesty.
The ECHO understands other shows such as Emmerdale, Police, Camera, Murder, and Tonight have also been cancelled by the broadcaster.
