Newcastle United supporters have more reason than most to check the first important date of the 2022/23 Premier League diary - the reopening of the transfer window. It will arguably be the most eagerly-anticipated window in St James' Park history as a Public Investment Fund-backed Eddie Howe looks to strengthen his ranks further before the start of the new campaign.
And the Magpies' faithful don't have too wait too long, with clubs able to officially recruit new players in less than three weeks' time from Friday, June 10, which is in line with the other European leagues. Less than a week later, next season's fixtures will be released at 9am on Thursday, June 16 and, due to the unique situation of a mid-term World Cup in Qatar, the campaign will kick off earlier than is normal on Saturday, August 6.
Thursday, September 1 is the next date that followers of the Toon need to be aware of, with 11pm signalling the closure of the transfer window until January.

Following the programme of fixtures scheduled for the weekend of November 12/13, the Premier League will then uniquely take a break as attention switches to England's bid to win their first major tournament since 1966.
The World Cup finals are due to run from November 21 to December 18, with the Premier League resuming just over a week later for the traditional Boxing Day fixtures.
Sunday, May 28, 2023 will then witness the final games of the top-flight campaign - a week later than all of 2021/22's loose ends were tied up this afternoon.
And, for any Toon fans longing for their team to end 68 years of hurt by lifting a domestic cup next season, then two dates to look out for are Sunday, February 26, 2023 for the EFL Cup final and Saturday, June 3, 2023 - the, as yet, unconfirmed provisional date for the FA Cup final.
