All Tears of the Kingdom English voice actors

If you thought your recognized some Tears of the Kingdom voice actors, you were probably right. While some Breath of the Wild voice actors reprise their roles, some turn up in new capacities, and some newcomers to the video game scene are established figures in film and television. Tears of the Kingdom is a bit more story-heavy than its predecessor, and there’s a strong roster of veteran voice actors to help pull off the narrative. We’ll break down every officially confirmed actor in the Tears of the Kingdom cast.

Link voice actor – Kengo Takanashi

Link is silent as always in terms of speaking actual sentences. He still makes his iconic grunts, hiyaas, and terrible screams if you run out of stamina while using the paraglider, though, and the equally-iconic Kengo Takanashi is still the one bringing them to life. Takanashi voiced Link in Breath of the Wild and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and he’s also voiced Emmanellein de Fortemps in Final Fantasy XIV, Wataru in Scarlet Nexus, and the Blindfolded Boy in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

Zelda voice actor – Patricia Summersett

Patricia Summersett reprises her role from Breath of the Wild, and Summersett also has a broad range video game and TV roles under her belt. These include Rainbow Six Siege (Ash), Assassin’s Creed Rogue (Hope), and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (Galina).

Ganondorf voice actor – Matthew Mercer

You may recognize Matthew Mercer from D&D series Critical Role, but he has a prolific career in video game voice acting as well. Some of Mercer’s previous roles are Cole Cassidy in Overwatch and Overwatch 2, Yusuke in Persona 5, Royal, and Strikers, and the human male player voice in Destiny 2. Mercer also voices Olivier Reise Arnor in several of Nihon Falcom’s Trails games.

Tarin voice actor – Rob Riddell

Tears of the Kingdom may be Riddell’s first video game role, but his TV career stretches back decade and even includes an appearance in 1984’s Dukes of Hazard. We haven’t actually found Tarin just yet, but presumably, he’s a Tears version of the eponymous character from Link’s Awakening.

Tulin voice actor – Christina Vee

Christina Vee has lent her talents to dozens of games and anime projects over the past decade. Some of the more recent ones are Octopath Traveler 2 (Mahima), Fire Emblem Engage (Merrin), Ys IX (Krysha), and Advance Wars 1+2 (Nell).

Sidon voice actor – Jamie Mortellaro

Jamie Mortellaro primarily works behind the scenes as a voice director, a role he filled in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, as well as God of War Ragnarok and Octopath Traveler 2. He reprises his role as Sidon in Tears of the Kingdom..

Yunobo voice actor – Joe Hernandez

Joe Hernandez is back as Yunobo, the clever Goron hero, though his career stretches back over 10 years. Hernandez has appeared in the credits of quite a few popular anime and games, including Hunter x Hunter, The Last of Us Part 2, and Tales of Arise as additional voices, Wei in Shenmue 3, and Javern in Lost Ark.

Riju voice actor – Elizabeth Maxwell

Riju of Gerudo Town is also back again, and Elizabeth Maxwell reprises her role as the diminutive leader of the Gerudo tribe. Maxwell also voices Sae Nijima in Persona 5 and its iterations, Natasha in Honkai Star Rail, Rosaria in Genshin Impact, and Saeko in Yakuza: Like A Dragon, among many others.

Rauru voice actor – Chris Hackney

Popular speculation was that Chris Hackney (Dimitri, Fire Emblem Three Houses) voices Rauru, and that turned out to be true. Hackney announced his involvement on Twitter without naming the character, though if you’ve made it past the opening narrative sequence, you already know who he is. Hackney also voices Illumi in Hunter x Hunter and Ayato in Genshin Impact.
