There are eight five-star characters in Genshin Impact that can drop from the Wanderlust Invocation (standard banner) or character event banners. While the standard five-star character pool remains largely the same across versions, it sometimes gets new characters, such as Dehya, Tighnari, and Yumemizuki Mizuki. Among new additions, the latest one was Mizuki in version 5.5.

The main reason is that there’s no guarantee for a specific five-star on the standard banner – you might get any of the characters or weapons. It also has a separate pity count from event banners.

Eventually, you will very likely get some (if not all) standard five-stars as you pull on the event banners and inevitably lose a 50/50.
