Famed all-pink cake cafe EL&N, beloved of Instagrammers everywhere, has revealed the opening date of its first north west store here in Greater Manchester. The huge new EL&N at Trafford Palazzo has been taking shape with sparkling pink domes next to the big Primark store in recent weeks.
Now bosses have confirmed they will open to customers for the first time on Friday, April 21 from 12 noon. And the first 150 customers through those pink doors will get a FREE brunch.
EL&N, which stands for Eat, Live, and Nourish, is renowned for "creating products centred around living a stylish life in a stunning setting". Other branches feature Instagrammable all-pink booths, flamboyant floral walls and bright neon signs all aimed at "encouraging a positive ethos to nourish the soul".

The cafe was founded by Alexandra Miller, who has promised elements that have "never been done before" will feature at the new Trafford cafe. It will sit next to the big Primark at Trafford Palazzo, the mall next to the Trafford Centre formerly known as Barton Square.
She has said previously of the launch: "We are thrilled to announce our very first opening in Manchester at Trafford Palazzo. This location in particular is iconic, and we can't wait to bring our unique offering to the diners of Manchester.
"The store design ties in all the classic EL&N interior elements along with some fresh new Instagram moments that we've never done before, Manchester, you're in for a real treat!”
The cafe is famous for its cakes and shakes but also serves a full menu of brunch and lunch options. The new Trafford site will also include a new menu including pasta dishes.
A spokesperson for the brand said this week: "We will be launching our brand new Spring Summer menu at the Manchester opening, this will be our first location to trial the brand new menu which includes delicious pasta dishes along with an entirely revamped cake and drinks range.
"We will open at 12noon on Friday 21 April - when the first 150 customers who enter the sotre will receive their brunch for free, along with a complimentary Nars makeover voucher redeemable at Selfridges."
EL&N will join other flagship occupiers opening this year at Trafford Palazzo, including NERF Action Experience, fast-food favourite Archies, and state of the art bowling alley King Pins. They will sit alongside the existing family attractions of Legoland and SeaLife Trafford.
Since Peel L&P acquired Trafford Palazzo, it says it has introduced a new placemaking and lettings strategy which has attracted several leading brands to add to the "diverse experiences and adventures within Trafford City".
