Supermarkets across Ireland have pulled certain foods from sale recently over safety fears.

Chicken and chocolate are among the items that the Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued recall notices for so far this year.

Some of the affected products were for sale in the likes of Dunnes, Lidl, Tesco, SuperValu, Aldi and other shops across the island.
