All-NBA Teams Selections Revealed for 2022-23 Season

Ahead of Wednesday night’s playoff games, the NBA unveiled its All-NBA teams during the pregame broadcast of NBA on TNT, honoring the best players of the season at each position.

The first team is headlined by 76ers center and regular-season MVP Joel Embiid, who previously had been named second-team All-NBA four times. The guards on the first team are Mavericks star Luka Dončić and Thunder standout Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, while the forwards are Boston’s Jayson Tatum and Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo. This marks Antetokounmpo’s fifth time making the All-NBA first team.

The second team features two-time MVP Stephen Curry, along with Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell. Celtics wing Jaylen Brown picked up his first All-NBA selection, and he’s joined by Miami’s Jimmy Butler. Nuggets center Nikola Jokić, who was named the league’s MVP the previous two seasons, rounded out the second-team selections.

The third team features a backcourt of Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox and Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard. The honor is a culmination of a breakout season for Fox, who made his first All-Star team and won the NBA’s inaugural Clutch Player of the Year award. Lakers star LeBron James and Knicks forward Julius Randle also earned third-team honors, while Sacramento center Domantas Sabonis rounded out the lineup.
