Players and supporters from Limerick and Kilkenny will have to contend with a high temperature weather warning at Croke Park on Sunday for the 2022 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final.
The two counties face off in the decider which is being held in July for the first time having been moved from September to accommodate a split in the club and intercounty GAA seasons.
The July weather looks set to play ball too with the capital set to bask in 28C sunshine as the game throws in at 3.30pm on Sunday.

Dublin will avoid the warmest of the temperatures but the entire country is covered by a Status Yellow Weather Warning from 6am on Sunday morning. The high temperature warning is valid until 9pm on Tuesday.
In its warning, Met Éireann says: "On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday exceptionally warm weather will occur over Ireland with daytime temperatures of 25 to 30 degrees generally and possibly up to 32 degrees in places on Monday. Night time temperatures will range from 15 to 20 degrees."
They are also warning of the potential risks of the warm weather on people including a high solar UV index, more water-related incidents and heat stress, so there will be a need for plenty of water breaks on the pitch and in the stands at Croke Park.
In its forecast for Dublin on Sunday, Met Éireann says it will be "very warm and dry with widespread hazy sunshine. Highest temperatures of 22 to 28 degrees, warmest in central parts and the east. South to southeast breezes will be light to moderate."
There will be plenty of sunglasses and ice creams making the trip down Jones' Road ahead of throw-in but the walk back to the car or train may be just as stifling. Met Éireann is predicting a rather warm evening and night on Sunday in the capital "with temperatures remaining above 14 to 17 degrees."
