Temperatures plummeted to 0°C on Thursday afternoon, but the Met Office warned the area would feel more like -4°C as an Arctic blast swept the UK, with weather warnings in place across large parts of the country.

A yellow warning of snow was in place for Birmingham throughout Thursday and until 2pm on Friday.

The televised dog show is running from Thursday until Sunday.

Crufts annually attracts more than 8,000 competitors along with hundreds of thousands of visitors, and is broadcast to an international television audience.
