Out-of-state Kansas City Chiefs fans received some good news this morning when it comes to watching their favorite team’s preseason games.
NFL Network announced that they’ll carry 22 live preseason games this season, including all three of the games that the Chiefs play in. Fans will be able to watch the games on NFL Network, the NFL app or NFL.com/watch. These games will be subject to local blackout rules, so if you’re a local to Kansas City, games will be shown on KSHB-TV. If you’re in a local market of one of the Chiefs’ opponents, it’s possible the game could be blacked out and carried on a local station.
The Chiefs will kick off a quadruple-header in Week 1, opening things up in Chicago against the Bears on Saturday, Aug. 13. They’ll get the second game of another quadruple-headier in Week 2, playing at home against the Washington Commanders on Saturday, Aug. 20. They’ll get the first and only game covered on Thursday of preseason Week 3, with the Packers traveling to Arrowhead Stadium.
