All American star Michael Behling recently shared insights into the evolving friendship between Jordan and Spencer in the sixth season of the popular CW sports drama. Loosely based on former football linebacker Spencer Paysinger, the show follows the journey of Spencer James, played by Daniel Ezra, a talented high-school athlete recruited to play football at Beverly Hills High School. Alongside Ezra and Behling, the cast includes Samantha Logan, Cody Christian, and Greta Onieogou.
In a recent interview following the season 6 premiere, Behling discussed the challenges facing Jordan, including stress related to football, the loss of his father Billy Baker in season 5, and how these factors might impact his friendship with Spencer. Behling highlighted Jordan's newfound consideration of pursuing a career in the NFL, the pressure of increased attention, and the ongoing competition between him and Spencer.
