The highly anticipated season six premiere of All American aired on The CW, marking the return of the beloved sports drama after a nearly year-long hiatus since the season five finale. The show, which revolves around football player Spencer James, played by Daniel Ezra, has been a fan favorite since its inception and is set to reach a significant milestone with its 100th episode on May 27.
The latest season picks up 15 months from where viewers last saw the characters, known as 'the vortex.' Despite production delays due to industry strikes, the decision to fast-forward the timeline was a creative choice by showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll. The shift to the characters' junior year as student-athletes promises new challenges and developments.
