All 32 NFL teams (including the Broncos) ranked by average attendance in 2023

The Denver Broncos had the fifth-best attendance in the league last season, according to 2023 NFL attendance data on ESPN.com

The Broncos averaged 76,388 fans at Empower Field at Mile High last fall, marking the second-best average attendance in the conference and the best attendance in the AFC West.

Because the AFC and NFC alternate between eight and nine home games each season, a total attendance number would be skewed. So we’re listing the average attendance number, which also isn’t a perfect figure because NFL stadiums vary in size. The four teams that rank above the Broncos all play in stadiums with larger capacities than Denver’s.

The Broncos have sold out every home game dating back to 1970, a 441-game streak that leads the NFL. Behind Denver are the Pittsburgh Steelers (433 sellouts), the New York Giants (398) and the Green Bay Packers (395). Despite recent struggles, the Broncos’ sellout streak won’t end any time soon.

Denver certainly has a home-field advantage playing a mile above sea level. The Broncos are one of seven teams with at least 300 home wins since 1960 (Denver has 305 home wins).

So, which teams have the best average attendance in the NFL? Check out the full list below.
