The Fashion Week of music festivals is well and truly underway. Coachella, AKA the influencer Olympics, sees global celebrities and content creators flock to Palm Springs in an onslaught of festival oufits as they watch their favourite artists perform. It’s always fun to find out a local brand has made it into a big influencer or celebrity’s Coachella ‘fit, and this time, international it girl Alix Earle has been spotted repping an Australian footwear brand.
We all know footwear is incredibly important when you’re attending a music festival. You’re on your feet all day, racking up tens of thousands of steps, so it’s important that they’re as comfortable as they are stylish. To be picked for Coachella means they’re the best of both worlds.
The Aussie footwear brand in question? None other than Bared Footwear, a podiatrist-made brand that combines the support of a biomechanical footbed with trending styles you see littering your Pinterest feed.

Alix Earle styled the Hillstar Boots ($489) as part of her day one outfit, a black knee high moto-style boot made from real leather. They’re sleek with a slightly chunky sole, and can be styled two different ways thanks to the removable harness. The boots also have mid arch support and a heel cushion for shock absorption to help avoid heel pain. If you’ve been at a music festival in boots all day long, you’ve experienced the torture.
The content creator and Dancing With The Stars runner up paired the boots with a vintage Roberto Cavalli animal print corset and teeny tiny denim mini shorts, as well as a Carhartt jacket to layer with at night.
Want to shop Alix Earle’s Coachella day one outfit? We’ve hunted down her look so you can use it as inspo for your next festival (or simply score yourself some sick new winter boots).

Hopefully more Aussie fashion brands catch the eye of our favourite it girls at Coachella! We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled.
