Alison Hammond was scolded by a guest on This Morning for "not listening" to him.
The TV presenter was joined by her co-host Dermot O'Leary as they interviewed Kevin Woods, the 'world's last leprechaun whisperer', live in the studio to mark St Patrick's Day today. Talk soon turned to the leprechaun that Kevin had brought with him as he held on tightly to a small bag, which was moving about under his grip.
Promising there was a leprechaun inside, Kevin quickly set Dermot and Alison a task of helping to contain him if he was to open the bag so everyone at home could see the leprechaun for themselves.
As they tried to conduct the interview and get the studio ready for the arrival of the leprechaun, Dermot and Alison continued to quiz Kevin about how many leprechauns were still around after he admitted many had died.
He at first answered to say around 200 were left, before Alison asked again just a couple of minutes later. Guest Kevin then told her: "I told you a minute ago, you're not listening," as she broke into laughter.
"You were exactly the same in Ireland and now you've shown up in your pyjamas," he added as both Alison and Dermot laughed.
Eventually, they managed to open the bag but inside there was no leprechaun and instead, it was just a set of his clothes including a top hat and a little shovel for digging gold. However, he had left a bit of gold for Alison and Dermot.
Whilst he seemed missing, Kevin eventually managed to catch him and get him back in the bag, leaving the presenters in fits of laughter as Kevin launched himself at them with his jacket to trap the leprechaun.
Fans rushed to social media to praise the interview as "telly gold".
"Kevin the Leprechaun Whisperer on #ThisMorning absolute telly gold! It proper made me laugh," one wrote, whilst a second added: "The Leprechaun whisperer was funny, be more Kevin everyone! #ThisMorning @AlisonHammond @radioleary."
A third viewer shared: " @AlisonHammond & @radioleary I'm not sure what I've just listened to but omg hilarious, I now believe in leprechaun's Alison your laughter is contagious, brilliant #ThisMorning."
" #ThisMorning funniest interview I've ever seen with a 'real' #leprechaun escaping onto the sofa next to @AlisonHammond," a fourth shared, with a fifth penning: "The Leprechaun whisperer was hilarious. Everyone should be more Kevin #ThisMorning."
