Alienware m16 R2 review: Excellent redesign thwarted by a subpar display

Alienware Momo Tabari Laptop Mag Nvidia Intel Corporation

Alienware m16 R2.

Alienware m16 R2 specs

Price: $1,849 (tested), $1,649 (starting)
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 155H
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD
Display: 16-inch, 2,560 x 1,600, 240Hz, 3ms
Battery: 6:13
Size: 14.3 x 9.8 x 0.9 inches

The Alienware m16 R2 lured me in with a phenomenal redesign that enhances portability and makes it aesthetically sleeker. With the introduction of features like Stealth Mode and an RGB-lined touchpad, alongside the expectation of excellent gaming and productivity scores, it seemed like a complete winner.
