Alice Springs man, 28, slices artery on window and gets tasered while resisting arrest, Northern Territory police say

A 28-year-old man suspected of attempted robbery is in hospital after trying to resist police in Alice Springs, say Northern Territory police.

In a statement, NT police said that officers had attended the man's home address in Alice Springs after he was identified on CCTV allegedly trying to steal clothing from a shop in the town's CBD on Saturday morning.
